Tom built a beautiful pergola on our patio . He also installed new decking which looks amazing . He has transformed our garden .. he is polite and good natured (it rained most of the week but that did not deter him from finishing the work ), turned up when he said he would and finished the job in a timely manner.. we have no hesitation in recommending Tom for any carpentry work you require in your home .. funny feeling we got him before he becomes too busy so get in quick if you want to book him.. and finally the cost he quoted was extremely competitive , worth every penny !! Tom did a great job of refitting new units in our kitchen. His attention to detail was superb, scribing the units against our uneven stone walls. Tom was always punctual, polite and kept us informed at every stage of the job. Would definitely recommend Tom and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Tom has been a great little find for us! After a lounge refurb, we were left with poorly fitting doors and liners, frankly though it was all in need of an upgrade. Tom sourced us new door liners to fit, beautiful oak doors and finished off the wood trim immaculately. Throughout the project from concept to delivery, Tom has been attentive to detail. He delivered our project in exactly the time stated and exactly on cost. We are just beginning our refurbishment on this house, and really glad we found a great chippie! Couldn't recommend Tom and TJI Carpentry more.

Tom did a great job doing our decking and fencing. He came up against lots of unforeseen issues but dealt with them with a smile on his face and nothing was too much trouble. He works super hard and backs that up with real skill and creativity. Highly recommended.

Tom has just transformed our staircase into a thing of real beauty with oak bannisters and cast iron spindles. His meticulous planning and attention to detail along with a lot of hard work made it a real success. Tom was also very diligent with his communication. This was my first ever kitchen renovation, and after finalising my design, Tom was recommended to complete the installation. Safe to say, doing a kitchen renovation for the first time was somewhat overwhelming and I had absolutely no idea what to expect, but Tom made the entire experience completely seamless. His attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to identify a problem before it even arises (and solve it!) was exceptional. Tom also used closely acquainted electricians and plumbers, who were also fantastic and worked to Toms standard of work and I felt like I was safe, trusting hands at all points of the renovation. His work is truly outstanding and I could not have been happier with the final result of what is now my favourite space in my entire home.

Tom and his crew have just finished my decking and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. From the care and attention Tom and the team took to the craftsmanship and the care to get everything right, it’s rare to find someone who takes such care in every detail.
